I-DESIGN was an integral part of RSB Transmissions (I) Ltd. as its R&D division for more than two decades. In the year 2002 I-DESIGN got its present identity as a separate company with a vision to support and benefit various industries from its continuous Research and Development activities. As a result I-DESIGN in last one decade has successfully delivered more than 400 projects to its clients’ delight.

From an humble beginning of five engineers in 2002 it has now grown into a thriving R&D organization with more than 150 professionals working in diversified areas of engineering such as automotive, aerospace, defense, marine, vacuum engineering, cryogenic science, material science, process engineering, thermal engineering and electrical engineering.

Over the years I-DESIGN has developed a strong industry-academic partnership. Today I-DESIGN Engineers work in close collaboration with IISC-Bangalore, IIT-Mumbai, IIT-Kharagpur, NIT-Rourkela, COEP-Pune, IMMT-Bhubaneswar, CSM-USA, Durham University-UK and host of other research organizations in India and abroad.
